Message from the Board

March 3, 2021 -

The Arizona Fiduciaries Association is currently seeking nominations for three (3) anticipated vacancies on the AFA Board of Directors, for more information. Four nominations have been received to date:

AFA 2021 Officers

Jeanette Bloss, President

Jeanette is the sole member and manager of JSB Fiduciary & Estate Management Services, LLC.  In 1988 fate led her to a temporary legal secretary position with a small law firm in Tucson that focused on probate and estate planning law, and she never looked back.  Jeanette found herself not only loving the area of probate law, but the ability to help people plan for the future management of their estates and to help families through the sometimes complex and overwhelming arena of trust, estate, guardianship, and conservatorship administrations.  The temporary position lasted for 15 years during which Jeanette developed her paralegal career.   Jeanette continued her career serving the attorneys of Mesch Clark Rothschild (2003-2013) and the firm of Fletcher Struse Fickbohm & Wagner (2013-2015).  She now uses her paralegal experience as an adjunct faculty instructor in the Paralegal Program at Pima Community College. With a strong desire to serve the Tucson community on a more personal level, Jeanette obtained her fiduciary license from the Arizona Supreme Court in 2008.   After a few years of double-duty between her paralegal job and fiduciary clients, Jeanette founded JSB Fiduciary & Estate Management Services, LLC.  She now dedicates herself full-time to serving the needs of her fiduciary clients, and the elderly and special needs community.   In her spare time, Jeanette proudly serves as a Court Investigator for the Pima County Superior Court, a service she believes is critical to the protection of vulnerable adults and children.   Jeanette is a Certified Paralegal, has an Associate degree in Accounting, is a member of NALA and the Arizona Paralegal Association, and a legal support member of the Pima County Bar Association.   Jeanette joined the Arizona Fiduciaries Association after obtaining her license and was elected to serve as a member of its governing Board in 2015, its Vice President in 2016, and is currently serving as its interim President.   She is a recurrent speaker on fiduciary and court investigator topics for the AFA, and has presented on these topics for NAELA, the Pima County Bar Association, and local professional groups. Jeanette is the mother of two near-perfect children and credits them for teaching her everything she needed to know about how to multi-task, problem solve, laugh in the face of stress, and find patience to deal with difficult people and situations, all while in a sleepdeprived state!
